I joined the military at 19 years old and served in the U.S Army 3rd infantry division out of Ft. Stewart, GA from 1997-2000. I saw the military as an opportunity to serve my country and in exchange obtain a college degree. I spent time in Kuwait and experienced things that nothing in Bootcamp or my civilian life prepared me for. I received an honorable discharge but was unable to take a hold of the life I once lived. I was experiencing unusual emotions and no outlet or understanding why I was feeling this way. I withdrew from others and lost my motivation. I had developed an intolerance to stress so my anxiety could be triggered over menial things. In addition, I seemingly lost the ability to connect with my friends and family and my old way of life. Over time I realized that my issues were shared by many, but as men, we struggle to reach out for help. I get it.
Well, I sought help and when I did, my life changed. I got back in the saddle, graduated with a Masters and most important, reconnected with others. Consequently, I decided to form a company that reflects my values and desire to help Veterans ease the stress and the “what now” mentality that we face upon discharge. I spent years helping Veterans get back on their feet and get the services they need. I know first hand, the barriers we face when trying to transition and it’s difficult at best. This shouldn’t be.
Here’s my promise: If you have served this country, I will help you transition back to civilian life. I have over 10 years of experience where I gained extensive knowledge and partnerships with veteran-centric organizations. I look forward to assisting you and your family with all of your transition needs. You served us, and now I am here to serve you!
